NLB Banka a.d. Beograd, with headquarters at the NLB Group Business Building in Belgrade, covers the entire market of Serbia through its wide business network, comprising 16 branches and a total of 70 outlets.

NLB Group
The NLB Group is the largest banking and financial group in Slovenia, operating in 18 markets and comprising NLB and 53 banks and companies. The Group provides the most diverse services for its clients, including the largest such as states and financial corporations. The NLB Group boasts 1500 correspondent banks in 140 countries and has a workforce of 9000. Our international credit ratings, which enable the Group to access financial sources abroad, include Moody’s Aa3, Fitch A- and Capital Intelligence A.
While banking is the primary activity of the NLB Group, its positions in the markets of other financial activities – such as leasing, factoring, forfaiting, insurance and asset management – are also getting stronger.
Although the NLB Group is the most prominent in Slovenia, it pays a lot attention to expanding its business in the markets of South East Europe. In accordance with its expansion policy, the NLB Group offers banking services in the following strategic markets in South East Europe: Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro.
In 2009, the NLB Group received several business and market awards and recognitions from both the expert and general publics. Thus, for the eleventh time in a row, NLB was among the winners of the CEE Awards of Excellence presented by the British Euromoney magazine, as the best bank in Slovenia in 2009. Also, for the fifth time in a row, the international finance magazine The Banker gave the Bank of the Year 2009 award to NLB Tutunska Banka – a member of the NLB Group.
NLB was awarded as the best bank in Slovenia each year in the period from 2000 to 2007.
In 2009, the respectable financial magazine Global Finance recognised NLB as the best bank in Slovenia, for the twelfth time in a row.
Additionally, NLB was recognised as the best bank in developing markets from 2006 to 2008, and as the best bank in Slovenia in the area of currency trade from 2004 to 2010.
The fact that our Bank is well-recognised among our clients is reflected in the opinion of the readers of Readers Digest, who evaluated NLB as the most trusted bank in Slovenia. As a result, the Bank received the Trusted Brand 2009 award in the “banking” category.
